The Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for the Sugar Milling Industry was published in this Gazette in Statutory Instrument 133/2014. In this CBA, wage increases with effect from 1 April 2014 were gazetted. They include payment of travel and subsistence allowances by the employer in that sector.

The Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Plastic Manufacturing Industry was published in this Gazette in Statutory Instrument 138/2014. It stipulates wage increase with effect from 1 October 2014, including payment of transport and housing allowances, shift allowance and service allowance. The Collective Bargaining Agreement: National Employment Council for the Battery Manufacturing Industry was published in this Gazette in Statutory Instrument 139/2014. This gazetted the minimum monthly wages for employees falling under this sector. Their actual wages are to be increased by not less than 2,5% on the December 2013 levels. Employers under this industry are obliged to pay transport and housing allowances.

The Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Furniture Manufacturing Industry was published in this Gazette in Statutory Instrument 142/2014. The industry, through this CBA, increased and consolidated wages to $254.13 per month on Grade A as from 1st January 2009 to December 2013. It also gazetted NEC dues at 1% of Grade A’s monthly earnings.

The Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Ferro Allied Industry in Zimbabwe was published in this Gazette in Statutory Instrument 143/2014 which brought about a 10% wage increase as from 1 July 2011 to 31 December 2011 and 0% wages increase as from 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2013. The Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Mining Industry was published in this Gazette in Statutory Instrument 144/2014. The National Employment Council for the Mining Industry reached an agreement to raise the NEC minimum rates or earnings for the industry by 50%.
