Kay is a partner at Gill, Godlonton & Gerrans and specialises in commercial litigation, labour law, criminal law and shop & liquor licensing. His legal career started as a legal practitioner with the firm in 1989, becoming a partner in 1995 and has served the firm in that capacity ever since.
Kay holds the degrees of BL (Hons) LLB from the University of Zimbabwe.
He also sits as an examiner in the Council for Legal Education. He is a director of a leading insurance broker and has also served on the governing board of private schools.
